What started as a personal passion project quickly turned into a global swimwear sensation. Bianca Bennetts, the founder of FAE began designing pieces for herself, frustrated by the lack of sexy, sustainable options that truly flattered the body. “I wanted something that would lift my booty and elongate my legs—just pieces that made me feel amazing,” she recalls. When friends and strangers alike began asking where they could buy her designs, she realized she was onto something. Spotting a gap in the market for swimwear that was both confidence-boosting and eco-conscious, she launched FAE—creating pieces that not only look incredible but also align with ethical and sustainable values.

The brand’s rise to success was fueled by a strong social media presence and an authentic connection with its audience. “We didn’t want to just sell swimwear; we wanted to build a vibe, create ‘the FAE girl aesthetic,’” Bianca explains. Instagram played a major role, with celebrities organically embracing the brand early on. “Shoutout to Bella, who wore the brand a few months after we launched!” she adds. By leaning into user-generated content and showcasing real women in FAE pieces, the brand cultivated a loyal following, turning casual admirers into devoted customers.

Of course, the journey wasn’t without challenges. From sourcing materials to managing production and keeping up with growing demand, the early days were filled with obstacles. “The amount of ‘almost give up’ moments I’ve had over the years is too many to count,” Bianca admits. But through persistence, continuous learning, and an unwavering passion for FAE’s vision, each setback became an opportunity for growth. “But honestly, staying persistent was key. And having Adam by my side was amazing. We just kept pushing through the tough days, learning from mistakes, and tweaking our process until it clicked.” Today, the brand is known for its signature paneling, bold prints, and ultra-flattering cuts—designed to mold perfectly to the body. “None of these silhouettes happen by accident; they are fitted on multiple body types, and we won’t stop until they are perfect.”

Looking ahead, FAE shows no signs of slowing down. With an exciting collaboration set to launch in March—just in time for festival season—the brand is gearing up for its biggest year yet. While the details remain under wraps, one thing is certain: FAE is here to empower women everywhere, encouraging them to embrace boldness, individuality, and sustainability. “Life’s too short to blend in,” Bianca says. “Be bold, embrace who you are, and wear whatever makes you feel incredible.”
